Dear Customers,
The Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority provides quality drinking water to approximately 1/3 of the Township. Our rates are the lowest in the area and some of the lowest in the entire Ocean County. We are continuously striving for streamlined operations, efficiency, and above all outstanding customer service. Our Township has been in the midst of a major population boom for some time now and the projections are that Lakewood will be one of the largest municipalities in the State of NJ within 20 years. Naturally as a result of the tremendous growth the Township has experienced over the last two decades the Authority has expanded well beyond its original borders and continues to grow. We view this growth as an opportunity to improve our system and to be innovative in the way we do business. We are currently working on several exciting projects which will enhance our operations and will enable us to service you more effectively.

The Authority will be renovating its Administrative Building located at 390
New Hampshire Ave. Starting on Monday Nov. 9, 2009 our offices will be
temporary relocated to the John J. Franklin Public Works facility at 1
America Ave. All public meetings will be held at the public works building during our stay there. Please click the "Meeting Dates" tab for details.
During our stay at Public works our office hours will be
changing to 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Our phone numbers and mailing address
will remain the same.

- Make a LEFT out of the driveway onto New Hampshire Avenue N
- Make a LEFT at the first street - at the sign PUBLIC WORKS
- Follow road around for a few hundred yards. Building is on RIGHT
